The Dark Truth of Rules of Survival | Hack Engine
We can't deny how much POV games such as, global offensive, fortnite and PUBG hits the trendiest game of the year from 2016-2017 and up to present. Gamers welcome this kind of games in an open arm, open world or in just a fixated map. However this kind of games due to popularity, a duplication and re-invented type of another game is born. There is a POV that looks very similar to PUBG that is hitting the game platform by storm called "ROS/ Rules of Survival".
The gameplay looks very similar to PUBG and you'll be surprised how quick they duplicate the game to be their own kind of POV game. Due to the fact that it is "Free to Play" and anyone with a downloaded game client has the access to create an account and can play the game.
Having the game being published in a short period of time, bugs and glitches is assured to come by. I've been playing the game for a while now and I'm not expecting a perfect game system where everybody is safe and glitch free. All I can say is that they did a good job in terms of copying the gameplay of PUBG but they fail to secure the players loyalty in terms of patronage playing.
This is a major problem for the company/creators of the game, and here's the reason why:
1.) The game is so laggy
- Even you have the greatest connection available, servers can't handle much of the players volume. Experiencing this jump of lag in the game makes you uncomfortable playing the game as you know that every second is crucial especially in this kind of game.
2.) Plenty of Bugs and Glitches
- The most irritating part of the game are glitches and bugs that you encounter. Example of the bugs I encountered in the game is when the time you are stuck in an object such as walls, stairs and furniture inside while looting in the houses.
3.) Reports are useless
- They are not taking the report of the players seriously, you can't feel that the game is doing their best to eliminate the cancer players. The ratio of encountering cancer players in the game is 8 out of 10 and it keeps increasing.
4.) Hack Engine Cheaters
- In every game there will be a hacked engine that bypass the game system administrator, by-passing all the security features of the game. In the other hand ROS/ Rules of Survival game system administrator does not care, well even if they care they don't take it seriously. The essence of the game is to remain the last man standing defying all odds that the enemies may strike you. Having a numerous hack engine available and being applied on this game with no concrete solution is really the most uncomfortable and saddest part playing this game. Players lose their confident to the game itself, I mean how can you deal with this? Player that can shoot behind obstacles, seeing you even though your hiding, and the most irritating part is cheating players can walk through walls and obstacles.
This is why games have patch updates and scheduled maintenance to fix these kind of things, and the game is out in the public for a long time but it seems the problem is not being fixed every time they release a patch update. If this keeps going they will lose a huge amount of players and switch to much better, less laggy, less bugs, less cancerous game. Even though it's free to play they have to practice a good customer service to their avid players. Establishing a good reputation in the game industry is a huge factor for this kind of industry, and I'm afraid that if they will not take these things seriously they will not survive in their own game.
